Project Description

Emergency services need more accurate information to save time and save lives in today's hectic and busy traffic. In the event of an accident, the response time depends on traffic and dangerous situations. Equipping emergency vehicles in this project with fire trucks, automation technology, provides the teams with all the information they need to perform their tasks quickly and well in an emergency.

System requirements

In emergency situations, up-to-date and accurate information is required. For example, knowing where the roof of a vehicle can be cut without touching the pressure tube of the air bag ensures that passengers trapped inside are quickly and without damage. Furthermore, information about traffic conditions and environmental conditions ensures that firefighters operate efficiently, saving time and preventing more traffic jamming. The requirements for this solution are as follows:

- A platform to display a large amount of graphical information

-Low energy consumption because many devices in the fire truck need redundant power - Transfective screen due to reflective clothing

Implementation of the Project

System Description

The fire brigade UNO-2182 and FPM-3060G have been installed to show complex graphical information. The system also collects data on environmental conditions as well as traffic information to ensure the efficient preparation of firefighters. Detailed information is sent from the central data point via UMTS / GPRS to this central computer. The FPM-3060G is used as a human-machine interface, which is paired with information when driving.
At the scene of the accident, the MARS-3100 can take over this information and collect detailed information about the accident. In addition, detailed information such as photographs and videos can be made with a tablet computer and transmitted to the hospital with UNO-2182 and necessary preparations can be made.
 

Result

The UNO-2182 is the perfect solution for low power consumption and a powerful central computer. Thanks to its small structure, it can be used in various intelligent transportation systems that require a high amount of processor speed. When combined with the FPM-3060G and MARS-3100, an excellent multi-functional solution has been created.
