Voltage Fluctuations

Voltage Fluctuations:
Voltage fluctuations are defined as systematic and random change in the voltage amplitude within the range of 0.95-1.05 pu. Powerful equipment such as welding machine and compressor and variable impedance loads such as arc furnaces cause voltage fluctuation. Capacitor causes loss of performance in equipment used, but can also cause irregular operation of control systems.
