Waveform Distortion

Waveform Distortion:
DC Offset:
AC current or voltage waveform in the form of the DC component. They exist because of half-wave rectifiers. Transformers cause saturation, insulation deterioration.

Harmonikler: Harmonics form the distorted waveform with the component in the basic fraction. They occur because of their nonlinear characteristics. These devices are modeled as current sources. Voltage distortion occurs due to the system impedance of the nonlinear distortion in the current.

> Harmonic currents occur in normal operating conditions of non-linear loads. The figure shown below shows the waveform and harmonic spectrum of the inveter input current. THD is a criterion related to the existence of harmonics in the system, but it can be deceptive. At very low loads, the input current THD may be high. To overcome this problem, the term total demand distortion is highlighted. THD differs from the harmonic components of the basic component

the ratio of the entire wave.

Distortion in the line voltage may be due to a temporary or permanent disturbance. Temporary distortion weaves are lightning, engine take-off, malfunction, and other harmonic generating causes.

InterHarmonikler

Notching:

Noise:: Neutral or phase conductors of the current or voltage waveform over the top of 200kHz low frequency harmonic or temporary event is not called components. Noise problems are improperly grounded. The usual size of the noise is less than 1% of the rated voltage. Filter, isolation transformerr.

Power Frequency Variations

Power frequency changes are completely related to generator shift changes.
